Course Artwork on Course Pages

Authors will be pleased to learn that we’ve improved course pages to display your custom course artwork. Here’s an example.

And now when you share a course on social media, your course artwork will display as a preview image.

How to Share a Course

Here’s how to retrieve a course link and share it with the world:

  • Go to your course in the Earmark CPE App
  • Tap the Share icon (see below)
  • Copy the text or share it directly on social media

I hope this helps you promote your courses more effectively!

Up Next: Embedded Media

Next, we’re working on embedding media such as podcast episodes and YouTube videos directly on these pages so your audience can start the course immediately, then download the app later to take the quiz for CPE credit.

Today is a big day for Earmark. In the latest version of the Earmark CPE app, you’ll see an option to subscribe. Thank you to everyone who took our survey to help us determine the price.

Your annual $99.99 subscription unlocks unlimited free courses so you can earn CPE without limits. It also supports our work at Earmark so our team can continue to bring more CPE courses to the platform and improve the Earmark app.

But don’t worry, The free CPE isn’t going anywhere. We’re just putting a speed limit in place. If you stay on our free plan, you’ll be limited to one free course per week. Just keep coming back every week, and you’ll get all the free CPE you need. But I do hope you’ll consider subscribing to support our work.

We’ve also added support for Premium and Sponsored courses. Premium courses will feature exclusive premium content available nowhere else and will be sold separately (a la carte) for a fee determined by the course author. Sponsored courses will be offered for free by vendors in exchange for your name and email address and will not be subject to the one-course-per-week limit of our free plan. Premium and Sponsored courses will be identified with a label on the course.

In addition, this version of the app includes support for:

Deep Linking

Each course now has a unique URL that you can share with your friends and colleagues. Opening the link on a mobile device with the mobile app installed will take the user directly to the course.

Try it with the courses below!

If the user is on a desktop or doesn’t have the app installed, it will take them to this page to download Earmark CPE.

Course Sharing

You can now easily share courses you enjoy by tapping the share icon at the top of the screen.

Each course has a unique URL that takes you directly to that course inside the app when opened on your mobile device. If you don’t have the app installed, you’ll see a page with links to download the app.

Rate Us

Help us get the word out about Earmark! When you complete a course, we’ll ask if you’d like to rate the app. Please do us a favor and give us a review on the Apple App Store or Google Play.

You can also rate us by visiting your profile and then tapping the “Rate Us” option at the bottom of the screen.

Course Filters

Many of you have already earned so much free CPE that you now need a way to filter out your completed courses. What a great problem to have! Now, by popular demand, filtering is available!

Here’s how:

  1. Tap on View All on the Home screen. See the screenshot above.
  2. Choose All Courses, Not Enrolled, In Progress, or Completed from the menu bar located directly above the courses. Please note that you’ll have to swipe the menu a bit to the left to see all the options.
