PHOENIX, October 25, 2023 — Earmark, the leading provider of free podcast-based continuing professional education (CPE) for Certified Public Accountants (CPAs), Certified Management Accountants (CMAs), and Enrolled Agents (EAs), announced today that its members have collectively earned over 10,000 CPE hours with the Earmark CPE mobile app.
The app allows professionals to earn CPE credits on their smartphones wherever they are, whenever they want. “On the weekends when I’m mowing the yard, that’s when I’m getting my CPE through Earmark,” said David Cieslak, CPA, Chief Cloud Officer and EVP with RKL eSolutions.

In addition to individual members being able to earn CPE credit for self-study, the Earmark CPE mobile app now allows firms to subscribe and offer unlimited mobile CPE to their CPAs, CMAs, and EAs. This makes it easy for firms to provide continuing education that meets the requirements of both state accountancy boards as well as the Internal Revenue Service.
In addition to offering CPE to CPAs and CMAs, Earmark is now able to offer continuing education (CE) credits to Enrolled Agents for courses focused on federal tax topics. This expansion of service means that Earmark can now provide continuing education to the entire accounting profession.
“Continuing education is important for all professionals, but it can be especially challenging for busy accounting professionals to find the time to take courses,” said Oliver. “Our goal is to make it as easy as possible for accounting professionals to earn the CPE credits they need to stay compliant and up-to-date on the latest changes in the profession.”
